Hi, I’m Like Zhu and this is my personal weblog. I believe a portrait of myself will be a good idea, unluckily I believe in another thing that even Da Vinci wouldn’t be able to work out a good-looking-enough image to be published…But I’m trying.
I’m a student at School of Computer Science and Engineering in Beihang University, Beijing, China. In this blog, you’ll find my words on literally any topic, but, as a CS major student, bits and bytes are most wanted. Currently I’m doing my internship at the Lab of Distributed and Mobile Computing (website), from where I got a place on a server that hosts this blog program. I use Symbian C++ to program mobile phones, and is trying to implement multimedia streaming within them. I’m also developing another mobile application, IPad, which recognizes eye motions to control phones.
Ehhh… Maybe a little bit too technically. Well let me say something personally. My hometown is Yuyao, a beautiful town in Zhejiang. I came to Beijing for college when I was 19, and it’s been three years since then. I like the winter here, but the lack of rivers and lakes annoys me. Anyway, I came from a place where water surrounds, and I love exploration.
I prefer English as computer typing, and Chinese when I was using a pen. I prefer Linux as personal laptop operating system, and Windows as lab-working platform. I’m kind of a academic geek, and I’m not part of CPC.
